  The food was just okay. The atmosphere is really lacking and a little expensive for what you get. The inside of the restaurant looks like an old Subway sandwich shop. It has no character. They play terrible top 40 pop music. We wanted a window seat but, the windows are covered by giant generic food displays. The place really lacks character and is need for a remodeling or an uplift. Some nice tablecloths and window booths would make a huge difference. The owners seemed to have started a comic book theme with posters on the walls, but have not carried it out throughout the restaurant. Some cozy curtains, even old telephone booth may be really cool to complete the Superman/comic book theme. Some decent music even of the eclectic sort would help. I also noticed that most people were not sitting down to eat. They were getting take-out. It is not cozy place where you feel like hanging out and ordering more food and drinks. The room is big vacuous and generic. My friend and I came all the from Boone and we were both very disappointed. Owners please invest in an overhaul.

  I am not a vegan. I do not generally eat vegan food. That being said, I went in with a vegan friend one day and I loved the place. I had a 'cheeseburger' with some red beans and rice, and then a slice of pumpkin chocolate chip cheesecake. Delicious. I cleaned my plate. Definitely going here again when I'm in town.

  Ordered the jalapeño cheddar burger and it was amazing. Got the side of zucchini. Have had their jackfruit tacos before but thought it had too much of a smokey flavor for my taste.
